Children should have regular eye exams beginning at 6 to 9 months of age.

Children’s vision conditions often go undiagnosed without regular eye health evaluations, and can manifest in school, socially, and in play.

Your child’s vision needs are different than an adults. Children are covered under OHIP for annual eye exams until they reach 20 years of age.
